Who can access Better Days Telehealth services?
Our Telehealth services are available to all clients across New Zealand. It is especially beneficial for people who can’t travel or live in regional/ remote areas.
How does Telehealth work for clients?
Telehealth is conducted over video call, allowing clients to receive care without needing to visit a clinic. These sessions offer the same quality of service as in-person visits.
What services are available for telehealth?
All of our allied health services are available through telehealth. This includes occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, and mental health support.
Is telehealth available for interdisciplinary service agreements?
Yes, interdisciplinary service agreements are available through Telehealth.
How effective is Telehealth compared to in-clinic services?
For eligible clients, Telehealth offers the same level of quality as in-clinic.
Am I eligible to receive Telehealth services?
While Telehealth offers a convenient way to access therapy, it isn’t always appropriate. A combination of factors will determine whether you can receive Telehealth.
When first starting, our team will assess whether telehealth is appropriate.
What technology do I need for Telehealth, and can I receive assistance setting it up?
You’ll need a stable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone, such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer. If you need assistance setting up for your Telehealth session, our team is ready to help guide you through the process.
Is private paid allied health available through Telehealth?
Yes, we offer telehealth services for private paid and all other suitable clients.
