FAQs
What type of psychological services do you offer?
Our psychologists offer clinical support for mental health. We provide person-centred, evidence-based therapies tailored to each client’s goals. Services are available through ACC funding (where eligible) or privately, depending on your needs. We also involve family and support networks when appropriate, ensuring holistic care.
Can I receive psychological services as part of a broader plan?
Yes. As an interdisciplinary allied health provider, our psychology services can be accessed on their own, or as part of a wider care plan alongside occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiotherapy, or other supports. This applies whether your sessions are ACC-funded or privately arranged.
How can I see a psychologist?
You can see a psychologist in-person at our Auckland clinic space or remotely through our telehealth services, ensuring accessibility across Aotearoa New Zealand.
Do I need a referral to see a psychologist?
No referral is required. You can book a private psychology appointment directly with us. If you’re seeking ACC-funded support, your GP or another health professional may assist with the referral process.
Are sessions available online?
Yes. We offer telehealth sessions for both private and ACC-funded clients, making services accessible across Aotearoa New Zealand.
What is the difference between private and ACC-funded psychology services?
Private psychology is paid directly by the client and can cover a wide range of personal or workplace issues. ACC-funded services are available if you’re receiving support for an injury or trauma covered under ACC, with ACC contributing to the cost of treatment.
