ACC Programmes
Better Days is a registered provider for ACC programmes, providing support to those recovering from injury.
We support ACC clients with the following allied health services

Occupational therapy
Helping people become independent in daily tasks and improve their quality of life.

Speech and language therapy
Communication and swallowing support based on needs and lifestyle.

Physiotherapy
Enhancing movement and function for people recovering from injury or living with a disability.

Psychology
Choose to see a psychologist for clinical, evidence-based mental health support. We’re here to support resilience and long-term wellbeing.
Looking for support to recover from your injury?
Training for independence ACC programme support
We offer support under the programme Training for Independence through Te Ata Tū, Te Ata Pō, and Tamariki and Rangatahi.
Under this programme we provide therapy for people who have identified injuries such as:
- Concussion and acquired brain injuries
- Spinal or musculoskeletal issues
- Chronic pain
- Burns and amputations
Assessment services under ACC
As part of our approval to provide support to ACC clients, we also offer assessment services such as:
- Communication Assistive Technology Assessment and Training Services (CATA)
- Education Based Rehabilitation Assessment Service (EBRA)
- Housing Modification Assessment Service (HMAS)
- Social Rehabilitation Needs Assessment Service (SRNA)
- Wheelchair and Seating Assessment Service (WSA)

How do I receive ACC funding?
To receive funding from ACC for an injury, a claim must be made on your behalf. You can find out more information on the ACC website.
