Training for independence ACC programme support

We offer support under the programme Training for Independence through Te Ata Tū, Te Ata Pō, and Tamariki and Rangatahi. 

Under this programme we provide therapy for people who have identified injuries such as:

  • Concussion and acquired brain injuries
  • Spinal or musculoskeletal issues
  • Chronic pain
  • Burns and amputations

Assessment services under ACC

As part of our approval to provide support to ACC clients, we also offer assessment services such as:

  • Communication Assistive Technology Assessment and Training Services (CATA)
  • Education Based Rehabilitation Assessment Service (EBRA)
  • Housing Modification Assessment Service (HMAS)
  • Social Rehabilitation Needs Assessment Service (SRNA)
  • Wheelchair and Seating Assessment Service (WSA)

What services are offered through Better Days ACC programmes?

We provide occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, and psychology for clients with relevant ACC funding.

To receive funding from ACC for an injury, a claim must be made on your behalf. You can find out more information on the ACC website.
