Meet Jane. She’s an Occupational Therapist who’s been working in the industry for around two decades since receiving her degree from Otago Polytechnic.
Jane has in-depth experience in a wide range of physical roles in both public and private sectors, and furthered her expertise by working on an array of interesting caseloads in other countries. In her accumulated experience, Jane is most particular with doing rehabilitation work.
Occupational Therapy for Jane is her way of making a positive impact on the world. She’s always had a strong interest in health and wellness, and opted to marry that with her passion of helping other people improve the quality of their lives.
As one of the strong wāhine of Better Days, Jane is very adept at building relationships and making participants feel comfortable, which ultimately helps in achieving speedy and quality results.
Jane enjoys being an OT because she can balance work and her love for travelling. In one of her escapades, she rode the Trans-Siberian Railway in -30 degree temperature while being one of the only four English-speaking passengers!
